The Brain Injury BI Waiver provides funding for individuals, under the age of 65, with an acquired brain injury. Individuals must be on Medical Assistance, be certified disabled, and require community support to avoid or delay nursing facility or neurobehavioral hospital placement. The case manager works on behalf of the individual to identify their needs and coordinate services that will support them in their home or community.
